Roger, I will miss you and miss our talks. We always kept in touch with each other to make sure that all was okay. I’m happy that we had a chance to talk a few weeks ago, but you did not let on that you were not feeling well. We were so close growing up as children since we didn’t have siblings so it was only natural to keep in touch and check on one another during our lifetime. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to stay in touch as much as we would have liked as we each went our own way with family, jobs, etc. You have a special place in my heart and I will always have good memories of our times together. I know you are in Heaven, happy and healthy, with your sweet “Mary” -- I know how much you missed her. I will see you again someday. Give hugs to your mom and mine.
Your cousin, Colette

Roger will be deeply missed here at Arbors of Hop Brook, which he had made his most recent home. I looked forward to seeing Roger everyday, he would give me a hug and a kiss to start the day, as he left to go to Mass. He called me his Mnn Cherie, and would give me special cards through out the year that showed me his kindness, and love. I know he missed Mary so much, and he could not wait to see her again. My only peace is knowing that Roger believed in Christ. I vision him dancing with Mary in heaven and it makes me smile. He was loved by many here, and it will be hard to get used to not seeing him again till we meet again in heaven.

Roger was a dear friend of ours, and a coworker of mine in the Ct Air National Guard, for many years...
His devotion to duty, attention to detail, and consideration for the wants and needs of his fellow servicemembers, reflected highly of his character.
He believed that all people possessed unlimited potential, and that each day, should begin and end with a success. His involvement in Haiti relief, prior to that countries recent disaster, as well as his sponsoring of a Haitian boy in medical school speaks volumes of who he was.
I am going to personally miss our monthly phone calls!!!
Rest in peace (repose en paix) my friend, you and Mary will always be in our prayers...

Roger was an individual that truly served the LORD. I've known Roger for many years while serving in the CT Air National Guard and during both of our retirements. He will be truly missed. I have no doubt where he is now. May he have eternal rest with the LORD. We will miss having our get togethers once a month with Roger.

I knew Roger for about 40 years. Roger worked with my brother Vincent at the Dept.Of Revenue Services. Vincent also had a small used car lot in West Hartford where a group of us auto enthusiasts would gather on Saturdays. From time to time we also would travel to car auctions together.
In later years I became his CPA. Ironically, Roger was with me in my office 3 years ago, when I received word that Vincent had passed away suddenly.
Roger was a kind, condsiderate & compassionate man. This is exemplified by his work in, and contributions to, Hati long before the current crisis.

Roger served God & Life well. May he rest in peace.
