Walter Carrion, 61, of Hartford died suddenly, Saturday, Feb 6, 2010. Born in Callao-Lima, Peru he was the son of the late Julio Carrion and Berna Castillo. He came to the United States in 1980, settling in Hartford and also enjoying living in Florida. He is survived by three beloved children; Norma Zuniga of Mansfield, TX, Walter E. Carrion of Hartford, and Alfredo Carrion of West Hartford, as well as their mother Norma Castro. He leaves many brothers, sisters, special nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends. Two grandchildren, Gabriela and Daniel Zuniga also survive him. He also leaves his partner Carmen Elices of Florida. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February, 10 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 79 New Park Ave., Hartford. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5022, Wallingford, CT 06492-7522.
